The thorn among the roses mmmm…

Lions Club of Georgetown Perdana together with 15 other Lions Clubs carried out the Peace Posters Contest on 29^th August 2010 at New World Park. The venue was sponsored by PPB Group Berhad. LCGP was represented by Past President Junita Lee, Ln Kelvin Lye, Ln Nicky Koay and President Irene Ooi. Many school children and their parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles were there before the Registration opens. Upon registration, these school children were given snacks and a bottle of drinking water each. It was certainly a busy but fun-filled morning. Emcee Andrew Choong read out the guidelines and lo-behold….the contests started on time. Yang Berhormat Chow Kon Yeow was there to give away the prizes towards the end of the contest…
